"Bortun was physically a man over only a small portion of his body. His leathery arms were packed with muscles. His large legs were very animal-like, ending in the cloven hooves Trestan had glimpsed. Some armor composed of animal hides provided cover over hairy skin that looked just as tough. The short brown fur that covered much of his upper body was nothing compared to his head and face.
